Six local tech companies gave  five-minute elevator pitches to 40 of us at the Science & Tech Talks meetup of the Startup Circle group.

I’ve been attending the meetings  since I arrived in Santa Barbara in 2019. I was just beginning to get to know people when the Pandemic struck.

Several of the companies had recruiters on hand. Engineers are even harder to find than cooks and waiters, these days.

I talked to three of the CEOs after the presentations. Maybe I’ll get a little work out of it.
