Cox-Uphoff International

For the final ad they were finally ready to reveal their secret: a silicone breast implant with a tab on it that would let the surgeon always have a tactile sense of the implant's exact position inside the bloody incision, and the ability move it at will, combined with the fact that the tab could never be noticed by anybody post-surgery.

I knew from reading the medical journals that "impalpable" was the term the doctors used and would respond to.

I'm still pissed about the way the art director crushed the text into unreadability. But it still worked extremely well for the client.

Grasp the Impalpable
The valve is the heart of an inflatable mammary implant. It must seal positively and it must be imperceptible to the touch after implantation.

Filling and adjusting the volume of CUI saline-filled prostheses is easy: grasp the exterior tab, stretch open the valve slit, and insert the fill tube.

The tab may be snipped off after filling, or it may be left uncut. Either way, it's impalpable.

The internal gasket tab gives the valve an automatic, double-positive seal. Round and teardrop shapes are available with either posterior or anterior valves.

The same efficient valve is available in CUI's new combination saline/gel implant. It's another example of the innovation that Cox-Uphoff International brings to their complete line of cosmetic and reconstructive silicone prostheses. You can be assured of state-of-the-art silicone technology to meet the highest standards of the medical profession.
