I helped a Santa Barbara art gallery.

What I added to the mix

This project started in August when Skip Lau asked me for help.  (Last year I made a quick&dirty website for him for his art prints.)

Now he was directing a 50th-anniversary show for an art gallery in downtown Santa Barbara. 

He had an existing call-for entries brochure, 8½ x 11, two-fold,  and he wanted it converted to a PDF and posted on the gallery’s website.

(The site’s administrator was a volunteer with limited available time and was unable to help on this project.)

I made PDFs and posted a first-draft version on a private page at Skip’s site for us to discuss. I told him there were a lot of things that could be improved.

After I modified it, 163 people followed the instructions and submitted entries and the entry fee.
