It was time for my annual trip to Santa Barbara to have Nancy calculate my income taxes. It turned out that this year I had to write a check for $1,100. Luckily I had the money. Matt put new spark plugs in my car and solved the stuttering-acceleration problem. Matt's neighbor Andy worked on his blown-up engine. My friend Diego was competing in a bowling tournament, and I stopped at the bowling alley to say hi. Matt Nordin had a bunch of new guns and we went to the rifle range up on East Camino Cielo.
