I've been a stone mason since 1985.

When I build a custom structure, I talk with the customer to get an idea of what they are looking for.

Then I produce scale drafts of their ideas mixed with my input which might include shaping and details that the customer did not think of, or know were possible.

I build for permanence so I also have to think of what might need to be in place for future modifications or add-ons such as lighting, switches and outlets.
