Fireplaces
This customer in Cleveland, Oklahoma, wanted their pellet stove to look like a real fireplace. It's made of native sandstone, the most popular rock among Andy's customers. The customer chose exceptional stone, hauled from Osage County. The chimney is faux--the pellet stove vents to the outside. Black mortar accentuates the exceptional stone. The full masonry structure is completely fireproof.
Construction took about two weeks. Andy first met with the customer and talked about what they had in mind. He prepared four different sketches showing various ways of doing it; the customer chose this design, and then Andy prepared scale drawings. |
